Find Different Ways to Dismantle Sexualized Violence

Salal provides a variety of educational outreach opportunities, workshops, and resources to universities, schools, community organizations, and service providers seeking to expand their knowledge about supporting survivors of sexualized violence.

We work to shift attitudes, beliefs, and thinking by increasing awareness and knowledge about sexual violence in our community from a feminist, anti-oppressive, decolonizing perspective.

Empower your community to disrupt conditions that perpetuate sexualized violence by participating in one of our workshops or trainings

Participate in our workshops and learn more about:

  • Sexualized violence and rape culture
  • The impacts and barriers survivors face when accessing services and support
  • How to be survivor-centred in your practice using a feminist, anti-oppressive, and decolonizing framework
  • Sexual assault laws, disclosure, consent, and what justice and healing can look like
  • How to support trans survivors and implement more inclusive policies and practices
  • How we can create safer spaces within our communities

To view the complete list of workshops, along with their learning objectives, and how to book, visit our workshop page.
